Feast of Nibbles

From 115___03
Backdated from ages ago because it's been a while since I did an actual blog post. Been more into the fast and short blogging method of snapping a picture on the phone and uploading it directly on blogger. Feels a bit like twitter blogs.

A few weeks ago (or was it months ago), my high school group decided to host another one of their erratic food themed meeting. The first was the Vegetarian challenge, and this time, it was high tea. Thank goodness there was no puzzles and word games involved, which also means no restrictions with ingredients.

I made Yorkshire pudding of sorts, which totally isn't high tea food, but hey, British food, close enough. This was FL's passionfruit cream cookie.

YJ's beautiful tier of sandwiches and blueberry friands. She even cut them perfectly into circles! Filling was crab.

Flowers were edible too, except for the purple ones.

SM's deviled eggs...

FL's version of deviled eggs! They say this was coordinated, but hm... *shifty eyes*

From 115___03
SR's mini toast with smoked salmon, sour cream and caviar!

There's my "yorkshire pudding" with roast beef.

BT's raspberry swirl cupcakes :D

And her savory scones of cheese and herbs~

These may not look very beautiful, but it's cappucino mousse with whipped cream and tasted good! =P Yea, cos I made it.

The spread!

What is high tea without tea right? Except we didn't have those English looking teapots and made use of this Asian one instead. Same difference, still a teapot! :D

Then RL arrived, surprising everyone with "her" lemon meringue tarts... we were all thinking to ourselves that this must be some hidden talent that RL kept hidden during her high school days. Alas, it was revealed that it was all a scam. She didn't make them =P

Nonetheless, these were impressive!

What will the group decide on for the next theme I wonder?
